Information

Dates:

  • Sign Up Deadline: May 4th
  • Post Bracket: May 6th
  • First Match: No later than May 12th

This will be a 16v16 Frontlines event for XB1 and PS4 on Battlefield V.

This event will be run in a Round Robin Format.

-Teams will have one week to schedule and play their match once posted.
-All matches MUST be organized and submitted on the Team Portals website.
-If a match is not scheduled due to one team not replying to another teams contact they will forfeit the match. (Contact an HL comp coordinator for assistance) 
-If a match isn’t scheduled by either team because neither team attempted to contact the other in time they will both forfeit the match.
-Matches may be given a 1 week extension under special circumstances [case by case basis], but both teams will be responsible for any matches the next week as well as the one given an extension too.

-Once sign-ups close, we will release the bracket.

*All matches must be scheduled a minimum of 24 hours before taking place.*

Match Scoring:

-Best of 3 format.

-Wins will be based on flags capped and M-coms destroyed. If a team wins 2 maps out of the three agreed upon they win the entire match.

-In the instance of a draw a tiebreaker map(the 3rd map) will be played.

-If the first 2 maps both draw then the “tiebreaker” becomes a sudden death match. Awarding whichever team the victory over the whole match upon winning the sudden death match round. If there is a 3rd draw in a row another sudden death match will be played until 1 team emerges with a win.

Score Submission:

-All scores must be submitted by both teams within 24 hours of the scheduled match time.
-If only one team submits a score within 24 hours then ONLY that teams score will stand.
-If neither team submits a score within 24 hours the match will be a loss for both teams.
(Scores may take longer than 24 hours to be posted/updated, but as long as they are properly submitted it is fine.)

-Format of scoring will be that you enter the total maps won by your team.

The leader board will be done on a points system as follows:

  • Win = 5 points
  • Loss = 3 points
  • No Shows/Forfeit = 0 points

In the event of a No Show/Forfeit the winning team will receive 5 points.

Joining a Server:

-When loading into a server, have an east coast player make a squad of 4 and quick match. This should start up a new server. As soon as you load in split squads and have your team start joining on them.

-Message the other team the server number as soon as you split squads so they can load on the other side.

-Who ever has more in the server,don’t spawn until you have a full team then flip and base the other team until they are full. Start on the next fresh map.

Bans:

Non-Restricted Event:
-No weapon, gadget, or vehicle is banned.
-If 2 teams want to make a “gentleman’s agreement” to not use something they are fine to do that, however Hardcore League will not enforce any such agreement.

Restricted Event: 

Bans/Restrictions

  • MMGs: All MMGs are banned.
  • SARs: The AG/M42, Gewehr 43, MAS 44, and Turner SMLE are banned.
  • Shotguns: All shotguns are banned.
  • Gadgets: AP Mines and Spawn Beacons are banned.
  • Maps: Hamada is banned.
  • Squad Call-Ins: The V1 Rocket is banned. All reinforcement vehicles including tanks and half tracks are banned.
  • Enforcement: All alleged rules violations must be submitted via the Match Dispute form and must be accompanied by submitting proof in the form of a screenshot or video to the appropriate Comp Coordinator. If it is determined that a violation has occurred, the penalty will be determined on a case by case basis and may be anything up to and including a forfeit of the match by the offending team.

Disputes:
For any disputes fill out the Match Dispute Form found below.
-Any disputes must be submitted within 24 hours of the match.
-Any dispute must include video/pictures.

No Show:
-If one Team (ALL Players Participating in the Match) does not show up within 15 minutes prior of the designated scheduled time and date then that team will forfeit the match.
-If you encounter a no show file a dispute as listed above, with video proof[we suggest your streamer start streaming the second the match is scheduled to begin].

-If a team shows up with less than 14 players they will forfeit the match automatically.

Team Rules

1. Unused roster spots: Teams with fewer players than the roster maximum at the start of the season may add players to their roster during the season to fill any open roster spots, provided that the team is below the maximum roster size and that the player being added to the roster was not rostered by another team at any point during the season. Teams with unused roster spots may not drop players during the season and cannot add/drop players once they reach the roster maximum.

2. Full roster: Teams with a full roster at the start of the season may perform up to 5 add/drop transactions during the course of the season. The player being added to the roster cannot have been rostered by another team at any point during the season and the player being dropped cannot be added back to the team’s roster during the season.

3. All roster changes must be completed a minimum of 72 hours prior to a competitive match in order for that player to be eligible to participate. All roster changes must be done using the Roster Change form and communicated to the appropriate Comp Coordiantor at the time of form submission. The 72 hour buffer does not begin until the Comp Coordinator has reviewed the form and approved the roster change. Any participation by a player that has not met this criteria will result in a forfeit for their team.

Steaming Requirement:
-Each team must have 1 streamer[who is playing in the match] for every match, the streamer may change match to match, the main reason for this is if the staff needs to go back through to confirm match scores.
-The streamer for each team must be linked within the details of each scheduled match.
-Each streamer must have “archived broadcasts” on, this is so the broadcast is not automatically deleted.
-If either or both teams does not have at least 1 streamer for any match that team may suffer a forfeit if we are not able to verify scores. Each team may have more than one streamer stream per match as a backup just in case.
